Colin Trevorrow’s version of Star Wars Episode IX, titled Duel of the Fates, was cancelled by Kathleen Kennedy in favor of a script written by JJ Abrams and Chris Terrio. Trevorrow’s script revolved around Rey and Kylo Ren looking for a force-sensitive planet called Mortis. It included more scenes of Luke Skywalker and Rose Tico, and a romantic subplot between Rey and Poe. Trevorrow also intended to reveal that Kylo Ren was behind the death of Rey’s parents. A draft of the script, as well as concept art, have made their way online.
