The Best Movies Never Made
Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4 is one of the most infamous with fans still speculating about it today. A planned sequel to the divisive Spider-Man 3, it would’ve seen Peter Parker break-up with Mary Jane and embark on a relationship with Felicia Hardy, who was set to be played by Anne Hathaway. The main villain of the movie was set to be Vulture with planned cameos from Rhino and Mysterio (who was set to be played by Bruce Campbell). Unsatisfied with the script, Raimi asked for the movie to be delayed from its planned 2011 release, prompting Sony Pictures to instead cancel it and focus on a reboot instead.
