The Best Movies Never Made

Ridley Scott and Damon Lindelof originally had a very different plan for the Prometheus sequel than what we saw in Alien: Covenant. It would have seen David and Shaw traveling to the Engineers’ planet, exploring their origins and confronting them. Due to the divisive response Prometheus received from critics and fans alike, that idea was scrapped in favor of a script that was more like the original Alien movies. The original idea was jettisoned into a short prequel that premiered on YouTube instead.
